This custom designed Timberwright (6x14) log home features oversized timbers throughout. Calling Montana home, this house was designed to fit the owners attraction to Western Style log architecture they were familiar with back home. Their architect, Studio Architects out of Bozeman, MT, actually attended a Hearthstone Construction Seminar hosted near Bozeman.
The architects were also drawn to our product as it differed from what they were accustom to seeing in their area.
Studio Architects then flew to Tennessee to tour our facilities. In Dandridge, they spent quite some time talking to our Design staff and touring completed homes, too. Upon returning home, they visited a custom log home we built in Bozeman a few years back.
The fact that we could work directly with the clients' architects to incorporate oversized timbers along with our Timberwright system was a major deciding factor. We were also able to recommend the use of hand peeled trees in certain areas of the house that really brought out the WOW factor you see in this project.
